Rock climbing intermediate

Two day course for those, who want to learn more advanced climbing techniques towards becoming an independent climber.

To book this course you will need to have some previous climbing experience - passed a Introduction to rock climbing course or have climbed at least 10 routes on indoor walls or outdoor crags and have belayed on 10 occasions.

The course length is 2 days during which you will learn:

  • how to belay a lead climber and hold a lead fall

  • how to second a route

  • how to place traditional protection and build a solid anchor

  • ropework

  • developed climbing movements and techniques

  • personal abseiling

  • crag ethics and risk management

Duration: 2 days

Minimum age: 18 or needs to be supervised by a legal guardian

What is provided: instructor, all the climbing kit

What is not provided: transport to the crag
